Pre-delivery Check

Embossers are tested prior to delivery before they leaves our base. The exception to this is the 4 Waves Pro, which is delivered via road freight directly from Index in Sweden.

Machine Setup

Our Index Certified technicians are available to assist with the setup of the embosser once it has been delivered. This assistance can be via telephone, email or remote login (remote login may not be available on some business networks for security reasons, please check with your System Administrator or Network Manager).

Warranty

All Index Braille printers have a 2 year or 200,000 page warranty, whichever comes first. This is a manufacturer's warranty. It is a Return to Base warranty (UK Base, not Sweden). This means that if a machine does need to be repaired under warranty, the customer pays for the returns to the UK distributor, but all other costs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Non-warranty Repairs

If an embosser needs to be repaired after the warranty period, again this can be carried out in the UK. Costs vary depending on parts required and labour.
